PBX System Requirements

myPBX top tier technology makes it work with most Internet connections and it’s very flexible. To be able to use myPBX you need the following:

An Internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for the number of users (phone extensions) that will be connected.

An IP Compatible Phone, a smartphone or a computer

myPBX works with most Internet services all you need is an stable connection.
Your Internet connection and your network most have the TCP port 5060 open, also ports 10000 to 20000 in UDP and support RTP Protocol, dont worry most networks do if you are not sure please ask us.

What type of Device do you recommend?

If you’re working in a fixed location, it’s always better to use an IP Phone because they are always on, they are more comfortable to work with and reliable. Besides you can connect a headset or use the speaker to have your hands free when talking.

myPBX IP Phones are affordable and are shipped already configured for your convenience.

Smartphones and Tablets are practical, but if you forget to open the App you won’t receive any calls and there’s always a battery issue since it can run out when you need it the most.

Using a computer with a headset is also a good option but don’t forget to open the program to receive calls. Also if you don’t have a fast computer or you have too many programs running at the same time you may experience bad quality calls with robotized voice.
